By 1 – How easy is it to install a tonneau cover?
Tonneau cover is very easy to install. It shouldn’t take you more than 45 minutes to install the entire cover from start to finish. The manufacturers actually make this very easy for you by providing an installation manual or DVD.
2 – Is there any drilling required for the tonneau cover to be installed?
In most models, there is no drilling required whatsoever; however, you can use a drill to install the clamp on rails if you would like. In other words, you don’t have to put any holes in your pickup truck bed.
3 – Can I still use my bed extender with tonneau cover?
This is a very difficult question to answer. Most of the time, the rails protrude enough to interfere with the rotation of the bed extender. But, the bed extender may work flawlessly with the new F-150 trucks.
4 – Can I use a camper with tonneau cover?
You will need to remove the tonneau cover rails in order for this to work properly. This will make sure that no damage takes place.
5 – How does a tonneau cover work with Nissan Titan Utilitrack system?
The tonneau cover works with the Utilitrack system on the Titan. All you do is undo the 2 bolts that hold the utilitrack to the side of the truck bed and then flip the track upside down and put the screws back in the same holes again. This just lowers the utilitrack by about an inch which is enough space for the tonneau cover clamps to fit perfectly under the rail. This only takes 5 minutes to do it.
6 – I have tailgate protector. Can I keep it?
Sure, you can. This will not pose a problem for a tonneau cover for the reason that it will still roll up and stop flush against the tailgate protector.
7 – How large is the canister?
The canister size of tonneau cover varies from brand to brand and model to model. The canisters are as small as 6.5 inches in diameter, but the average size is 8.5 inches. This is actually the smallest canister in the industry for retractable tonneau covers. Most of brands have canisters 10″x10″ or greater canisters. A small canister gives you an additional cargo space under the canister.

How is the tonneau cover shipped?
Most of our covers are shipped DHL and USPS, however, there are times when another carrier may be used. It is all a matter of which carrier can deliver your tonneau cover as quickly as possible without any damage.
How long does it take to arrive after it ships?
It takes about 3 to 5 business days depending on where you are in the country.
Do you charge more for if I live in other country than yours?
Yes, there is an additional charge for such shipments. This is because we cannot deliver it using our normal ground carriers. And it is also possible that we do not deliver in that country at all. Therefore, please make a call to us for a shipping quote in such a case.
How does the tonneau cover lock?
In general, there is a spring loaded lock handle on the rear driver’s side corner underneath the cover. When you completely close the cover, this spring loaded lock will automatically secure itself. Do I need a separate key to open it?
This depends on the model and brand, so you may or may not need a separate key to open it.
There are some models that have locks under the rails of your truck. This means that you don’t have the hassle of an additional key to lock and unlock your cover. So, basically if your tailgate is locked, your cover is locked. Most trucks come with a factory installed tailgate lock, however, if your truck does have one, we recommend you purchase a pop and lock tailgate lock.
How strong are the panels?
The panels that make up the cover portion of tonneau covers are extremely durable and can handle about 400 lbs. of weight easily general. They are 1.5″ thick or more.
Can I stand on the cover?
Absolutely, you can stand on it, but it is not advised at all.
