What Kitchenware Is Necessary In A Self Catering Holidays Destination?

I do not know how it affects you, but it is hard for me to cook when I do not have my pans in the kitchen, and I do not know how to cut without my knife and my table and I do not like every of coffee makers to taste my morning coffee. When you have to manage the self catering holidays destinations, you also have to keep the varied tastes of your guests so that they can enjoy their stay to the fullest. These are my suggestions of kitchenware to be present in the self catering holiday home to rest for a few days without nay troubles.

Pans

I get very angry when I get to a self catering holiday place and find the typical frying pan with the teflon chips that, apart from its toxicity, prevents me from making a French omelet or a fried egg without being stuck on the base. That’s why I always prefer having two pans, one bigger and deeper that I use to fry and sauté and a smaller and flat for the rest of the tasks.

As for the pans, that is the aspect in which I have had less problems, because there is usually an ideal pan to cook pasta or heat large dishes and a saucepan that will be worth to heat leftovers, make sauces or heat the milk. If I have space, I usually have a medium-sized saucepan to fill my cocotte, which I can also use to roast a chicken, for example.

The Knife and the Cutting Boards

Can you chop an onion with any knife? If there is an activity that is at risk in the kitchen, I think it is to cut or chop the ingredients with badly sharp knives and that is why I always have more than one knives which serve different purposes, so that I can perform all the necessary tasks. I could add a peeler, which is often missing in the beach apartments, but at least the chopping knife and lace are essential.

As far as the cutting boards are concerned, there are times I have found some decent places to rent, but in general, either there is or is not one that is insufficient. It does not cost anything to include a silicone or wood board and so we have everything needed to chop and cut without damaging our knife or our fingers.
