By Dubai Marina is the most inspiring inspiring artificial canal city, constructed in an area of 4.9 million m². The construction is started at a 2 km waterfront stretch from the Persian Gulf shore. The concept has been conceived from the False Creek, Vancouver, CA development of Concord Pacific Place. Dubai Marina is under development, however it is expected to accommodate at least 120,000 people in its sky-high buildings and apartments. The majority of the buildings will contains residential apartment towers. The West European public will form the major portion of the Marina’s population.
Location
Dubai Marina is constructed on the shoreline of the Persian Gulf. The city hosts the Jebel Ali Port and the communication towers connecting Dubai Media City, Dubai Internet City and the American University on its either sides.
Project Description
Handled by the Emaar Properties in UAE, this project is totally a man-made artificial construction. The project will primarily consist of two phases. The first phase, a 25 acre area will contain six major towers. The 36 storey tower ‘Marjaan’, 28 storey tower ‘Al Maas’ and 20 storey tower ‘Fairoz’ are named after the precious and good fortune stones, and 36 storey tower ‘Mesk’, 24 storey tower ‘Yass’ and 16 storey tower ‘Anbar named after the Arab scents. The project comprises of sky-high buildings, residential towers and Marina homes. The residential apartments will comprise of 1 to 5 bedroom apartments, and their prices will vary according to the number of bedrooms in an apartment. The residential homes will comprise of 3 and 4 bedroom villas.
The second phase will contain the major official buildings. A construction named as ‘Tallest Block of The World’ will contain a range of buildings, with a height of around 200 to 300 meters on average. These towers will include Sulafa Towers, Ocean Heights and Infinity Towers etc. The tallest building; Pentominium is designed to be 516 meters in height. A 3 km long waterway has been installed, which will receive water supply from a desert. The completed part of Dubai Marina is the Jameirah Beach Residence.
An 8 km of public walkway is also included in the design, which will offer life-enchanting activities, experiences and places to the people of Dubai Marina, including salons, restaurants, hospitals, clinics, play areas, spa, cafe, health club, BBQ units and a lot more.
